Several years ago, we formed a trio, Zumbido, with violinist Ruthie Dornfeld, specializing in Brazilian music. As the two of us began spending more time together, we found ourselves working out duo versions of both the Brazilian songs we had started with and Jazz Standards. Soon the duo sound began to take on a life of its own.

We've selected a program of our current favorites in both styles for this recording, songs that chart the course of love and explore different sounds. We try to give each other chances to shine, and most of all, hope that the songs themselves shine.
