about

Catwalk has been together for almost three years now and we've been playing original tunes only (except for the occasional wedding gig) for the past two years. It has been an interesting ride, trying to create a full ensemble sound that grooves in a bassless/drumless trio. Building a repertoire of original tunes, apart from being a tremendous incentive to write, has had the effect of creating a powerful identification with the tunes for us--a feeling of knowing them "from the inside out". We hope you enjoy our renditions and the places these tunes take you.

about

John Miller Bellingham, Washington

I made my first recordings at the age of 21, a solo Country Blues album "First Degree Blues" and one with Bluegrass trailblazers Country Cooking. I released four more solo albums before I turned thirty. After a long lay-off, started recording again in the '90s with instrumental duos, duos where I backed singers, solo recording and larger ensembles. You'll be able to find it all here. ... more
